| When: There are two hiking events, choose one or both!
1) Saturday, May 22nd, 2 - 5 pm @ Umstead State Park, Reedy Creek Entrance (near RDU airport). 1 mile NORTH to I-40 Exit 287.
2) Saturday, July 24th, 2 - 5 pm @ Lake Johnson Park. 4601 Avent Ferry Rd, Raleigh.
What:
Hiking, boating, biking, dog walking, fishing, picnic and more.
Who:
Everyone is welcome.
Things to bring:
activity clothes, comfortable shoes/hiking boots, water (plenty of), snacks/picnic, sun block, bug spray, hiking sticks, fishing poles ...
** We will first meet at the parking lot/washing area, and start our journey at 2 pm sharp. Please arrive on time to find us before we leave. Expecting hiking time is 2 to 3 hours. In case of severe weather (i.e. thunderstorm), this event will be canceled. |
